Yes, Happy Easter and Happy Passover everyone. I sang with the choir last night, tonight, tomorrow night and Easter morning. Does anyone have a good remedy for a sore throat?

Gurgle with a good kognac, then swallow? Big Grin
Joke aside - how about some nice tea with honey?
What are you singing?

And Happy Easter and Passover to you all too.

Lots of hydration and vocal rest between gigs. I mean no talking. Write on a pad. Limit coffee, cigarettes, and alcohol till the siege is over. I work with voice clients.

I'm just back from the Tenebrae service. It is just alternating scripture reading and choir anthems. We did nine songs tonight. Tomorrow is what's called the Great Easter Vigil. I just looked at the program and we do 15 songs and the Psalm. By the time Easter gets here we sound like a bunch of frogs.

I like Ursula's solution best but may have to substitute Drambuie.

Just back from church. I blew my voice out on the last song "Majesty". That song just ain't right unless you belt it out. Sipping on Drambuie now and caring less. Sticking tongue out

Thank-you Big Grin It hasn't gotten a drop of water since Oct/Nov so its been bone dry all winter and now is starting to grow, how amazing is that? I suspect its sprouting a bit late since the growing area is on the cool side, the grower I got it from said to give it the same light as Cattleya so would morning or afternoon sun be best? Or should it be back from the window? I need advice with this Big Grin Apperently once it starts growing it grows very fast and should be in bloom by mid summer...hopefully! He said it might flower this year or next Hurray!
