Nice show, Lindsey. I think I have the same taste as you and Carol.

Kathy, I just love the Den 'Mountain Midnight'! It looks like she has her eyes closed.

I was out in the bushes taking a picture of the spiking Stanhopea when I noticed Epicattleya El Hatillo 'Pinta' still in bloom.

This weekend we did our yearly search for the elusive Platanthera lacera ( at our place in Pennsy). Juvenile plants come up with 1 leaf, will usually bloom the next year after being a 2 leaf-plant. Once they flower, they are done and we look nearby for new plants. We found some after extensive combing, there is a lot of surrounding vegetation this year!
The first picture shows a nice tall plant, almost impossible to spot! Take a closer look if you like.

After some extensive searching we approached our pond and almost stepped on a flowering plant amongst the grasses at the edge of the water. I always wonder how many we missed.

Wow, you all have some beautiful plants in bloom. I have quite a bit of new growth on several and spikes on a couple, but nothing new in bloom, which is one of the reasons I love looking at your photos. Nice show.
