I had my PC worked on today, and had to actually sign in this evening! It's kind of good to see the articles and all the forums at the top of the page. Lets you know what you've been missing. I'll thy to get some photos tomorrow to post.

I think you are right, Ursula. This is one of the orchids I got when an older MG sold off her collection and it is the first time it has bloomed for me. I just copied the info she had written on the tag. It is nice to pin it down. Thanks! The nice bloom was a happy surprise.

Thank-you The spikes on the purple gem are so tall they have outgrown the stakes! Now they are growing across towards the glass......they just keep going!

never had a stanhopea. Pretty though. My phals are all past their flowering time here in FL. They were at it for months though. Now it's time for them to catch their breath and start all over again.
