I think you are right, Ursula. This is one of the orchids I got when an older MG sold off her collection and it is the first time it has bloomed for me. I just copied the info she had written on the tag. It is nice to pin it down. Thanks! The nice bloom was a happy surprise.

never had a stanhopea. Pretty though. My phals are all past their flowering time here in FL. They were at it for months though. Now it's time for them to catch their breath and start all over again.
