Lin, I bought Broughtonia sanguinea 'Star Splash' x Broughtonia sanguinea 'Full Star' as a gift for Laurel and it looked more like your red one. Very nice orchids. Here is a pic I took before giving it to her.

I think and I really 'think' that this orchid Slc. Jewel Box 'Dark Waters' is starting to form buds. I hope so, it had bloomed before Christmas and I had 2-3 weeks of blooms. Lee
I am happy - my small plant of Cym. Amazing 'Marlow Orchids' is again doing its Summer thing, it is opening a modest spike. The plant pic was taken "in-situ".
And Stenoglottis woodii ( bought a year ago from Andy) is blooming.
These are blooming wild in Nottingham England now near my friends yard. (Pardon the glare, I took a picture of her photo.)
She calls them Bee Orchids. Googled it ....Ophrys apifera var. aurita.
