We spend some time this weekend in/at our "extended garden" in Pennsy.
The Cypripedium acaule are in full gear right now and it was fun to visit all the stands.
The single plant of the alba form made its appearance again, and there were lots of blooms in various shades of pink.
The little Moth was surely just sitting there for contrast.
Young Newt in the forest
And some Ducks seemed to like the pond and actually stuck around at the shallow end....
And one can never sit at the pond without feeding the Sunnies. Feeding Frenzy for sure, they LOVE Panetone!!

I'm working the MG desk at the Extension office today. Yesterday we went on a MG tour to Selby Botanical Gardens and Crawley Nursery in Sarasota. I came home with Sanbokan citrus (Citrus sulcata). It is sometimes called a sweet lemon or sweet grapefruit. It comes from Japan and no one is sure of its parentage. Anyway, it tastes like a glass of lemonade, no sugar needed. Now to find a spot for it.
