It's in the mallow family. Great stuff all. But Mr. Stinky is intimidating even from here!!
How does one get a crinum to bloom? I've had 2 for years but I have had no luck. Inside or out.

Thanks, Janice! I have a thread dedicated to my irises too. One of my daylilies opened and turned to mush in a frost but lots more are forming. Do you have early daylilies?

Janice, do you think the daylily I posted on page 3 of this thread is the same as yours?

Jim, it sure does look like it, but there are so many Daylilies that look similar, it boggles the mind.

Mine worries me, because I just got it last year and it is missing the rather distinctive watermark it should have, so not even sure it is what it was represented as. Shrug!

JIm, I have an Allagoptera arenaria that I've had in a pot by the pool for about 3 years. I had it in shade on the terrace before that but it has really taken off since I put it out in about half day sun. It's a great palm and I haven't seen another one since I got this one. I love how it trails and spirals.

Ursula, thanks for the name on the clematis! Mine came without a name. It's one of the few that does well here.

Whenever I see Palms, I know I am on vacation.... Smiling The Allagoptera is/are neat.

Carol, the Clematis always amazes me. Dry sticks in the Winter, you are tempted to pull out that dead plant, never mind dormant! And they are still alive!
