The Bluestone order arrived and I am so pleased.

First it arrived in ***** 2 days ***** from when the order was placed!!! Amazing!

The packing was super and the plants a good size and healthy, every one.

I ordered some Clematis, Adenophora and Oenothera.

If you got yours after two days I will probably get mine tomorrow or Monday. I got my order from ilovehostas.net today and my other three Buddleia from mamajack, oh and a Black Lace ( sambucas)

ilovehostas.net is a great company, good packing everything was perfect. I did get two hosta's from him and one coneflower, plus three Heucheras.
For Hostas I guess my favorite is Hallson's,Naylor Creek, and Hostas Direct, for big plants and Countryboys for small plants but I have tried several new companies this year and I got good deals on hostas, from Green Mountain, ilovehostas, Bridgewood Gardens and Bentleys Coop.

I was wondering about Country Boys, as their selection looked so large. I will take a look at Naylor Creek now!

Naylor Creek is good for the hard to find hosta's, I got Orange Marmalade last year and this year I got Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Lakeside Cranberry Relish and Sharp Dressed Man. Things I could not find any where else at the time.
I love Countryboys because I can get one-two year plants for the price of a liner and they have great packing method. This year I got there early and got some real popular hosta's for around five dollars each.

Burpee has free shipping this entire weekend (coupon code FS146) so I just ordered a whole bunch of seeds! I bought seeds of PURPLE SPROUTING BROCOLI, GREEN ICE and LITTLE CEASAR lettuce, Zen Oriental Greens, SUPER SUGAR SNAP and MAMMOTH MELTING snap peas, Suyo Long and Orient Asian Cucumbers and trellis netting that I need so that I can have stuff vine up. I already have 7 foot tall green fence posts to use.

I can start the cucumber seeds as soon as I get them but honestly, I am going to have cucumbers up the ying-yang this summer I will be planting so many. The rest of the seeds are for a fall crop that I intend to have this year. This is the year of the veggie garden crazies for sure here at my house.

You never know what my garden crazies will be.

My veggie seeds came that I ordered Thursday and that they shipped Friday. The mail comes so late lately, after five that I almost missed that they were here! Lots of things, like the peas and brocoli raab I will be saving for a Fall crop. But I have two types of cucumbers to start seeds, China Long and Armenian. Only a very few seeds to those packages (peas have lots) so I better not mess it up. I will just put them in some cell packs with potting mix, this way I can keep them warm for germination. Not that warm would be a problem today, it is hot and muggy!
