Thanks. I forgot to change my setting so the photos are a bit fuzzy. I always do that. You'd think I would remember by now. Duh.

Yes, birds love Mulberries ... and so do we. It's whichever of us gets to them first. Hilarious!

The tree is big. You have to shake a lot of them down.

30-50 feet and as wide although with the other trees and growth around this one will probably stay where it is at about 30 ft+.

The fence in that photo is 4 ft. high so you can get an idea of the scale by that. Yes, that tree has been there for decades and it's tall. But they can be kept smaller with pruning.

Thanks, Jo Ann. Some people love the fruiting Mulberry trees and some people hate them. Nurseries were pushing fruitless Mulberry trees for a long time. But the fruited ones are coming back into favor. The fruit is messy if it falls onto patios or walkways, etc. Just like any fruit. But this fruit is dark purple and really can stain. Like blackberries. That tree is perfectly located and I'm happy about that because it's waaay to big to move now. Hilarious! Whistling

Tam, that's fabulous that you raised that much! Congrats!! That will help a lot of needy animals. Lovey dubby

I wish my photography looked as good as some of the plants. It would help if I changed the settings on the camera when I go outside. Hilarious! It seems all of the plants and yard just exploded this year ... probably due to our very warm winter.

And, ka-ching, the Red Hot Pokers someone sent me in a swap are starting to bloom. Poor things are stuck in an area with mega tree roots. I'm hoping they will now row run. Even the ditch lilies there struggled (imagine that!) but they are about bloom as well.

Gotta celebrate the small victories. That's a tough, tough area for planting anything in the ground.

Please post a photo when it blooms. I love theose blooms, but so do our groundhogs ... so I had to move mine to an area in front of the fence. But it certainly doesn't have the best growing conditions. Glare

Oh my! Groundhogs!! Hey Tee, there are two nursery sites promoting a tablet that will dissolve and be absorbed into the roots, it makes the plants taste like hot peppers and does repel most pest. I will find that information and post it when I do. Green Grin!

I use hot pepper. I love my groundhogs and they do little damage other than that or sunflowers. They love them as well. It's no big deal. nodding
