Smilebox is easy and no one has to join it to view your albums. I have the Membership because the choices are better as far as music and templates for presentations goes.

I've been wanting to get it, I like the way it presents the pictures. Green Grin! The music is a bonus! Hurray!

I just got rid of Flicker and Photobucket. Thumbs down

I really like it.
I havnt been on photobucket in months. I had a website and didnt renew the hosting 2 years ago. I thought Photobucket would be a less expensive venue for my paintings. It really didnt give me what I wanted. The world wide web is too wide.I ended up mailing my peeps when there was a new group of paintings anyway so I never really knew how many people visited the website. The counter failed after 6 years.

Smilebox is more personal and I post to the same peeps..

Just an observation from here.We had a crazy spring and I have noticed certain plants are shorter and blooming. I just suppose it was the warm March and freezing April that is the cause.

Has anyone else made that observation?

I had a lot of seedlings which I winter-sowed, sprout in Feb. and Mar and then froze. The only thing that got messed up was the trees,. they did not bloom nearly as well as usual. The dogwood had very small flowers that did not look healthy. Same with Cherry Tree,. not fully bloomed but some good flowers.

Thanks for the smilebox Jo Ann, I love all the beautiful Iris. I ordered about ten but they won't be here till fall I think? I will be putting some of yours on my Wish List. I got a few Noids from Mamajacks plus a IMPRESSIONIST, then I got some of the small ones from Brent and Becky's called Iris reticulata 'Harmony'. They have not shipped either, got a email and she said she would dig them up sometime in summer? Confused
I did set up a smile box but do not know how to get a link. Plus it was too long 80 pictures. Sad

Here is Echinacea 'Merlot' with some Agastache, Coreopsis, Russian Sages, and anything else I could cram in the flower bed. LOL.

Merlot is a beauty Clint. A bit of advice needed here. I purchased Echinacea Ruby Star at a local nursery and planted out maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Full sun from noon on. It is growing leaps and bounds but has a tendency to droop in the heat of the day, even after plenty of water. Does it just need to get established?

I bet the potting mix they used is that bark stuff. If so, you should always remove some of that before planting it. It dries out so fast. It is very difficult to keep it watered. You could probably lift it out of the spot you planted it and look and try to shake some of that stuff off. If it's a good potting mix, I'd not worry about it. It's just a matter of the roots getting past that bark stuff to the real soil. If you bought it at Lowes, that is probably the problem. They are bad about having that stuff in their pots.
