Love those Iris's spring, I have ordered about ten this year and I just got a clump from Mary's Garden Patch yesterday! I planted it near the AC because it is always moist there. Hoping for a few more next year. They are so beautiful.

It spreads up to 6 feet. It doesnt get really tall but it is wide.
Not great pix but thats how it spread after 3 years from a transplant.I had it in the wrong place first try.
It works beautifuly in the "no mans land" garden. That part of the slope cant be seen from the deck so I put stuff there just to cover. Its awfully weedy.I cant keep mup. Some sort of longlegged thing that sticks to me when I try to toss it.
