Would it be possible to set up another tv and get local channels via an indoor antenna?

Actually I have an antenna hooked up to the TV and can watch the locals while still recording off the sat. which is nice. Direct TV sent me a free local channel "connector" but after reading the "destructions"( ) I deceided not to hook it up...there was a warning about it getting hot and if the signal is lost on the sat. can't watch anyway, but with the rabbit ears I can. So at least I can still watch the locals...it's really more the principle of the thing

Im embarassed that I need to come here and vent, but vent I need to do. Walmart. What a dump. Ill admit to never going in wal mart, until this week, I have ordered on line. The other night I ordered something for pick up that was on an angel tree list. Said they had 7. Got there and they said they had none. I tried to look thru the store, but that was kind of a joke, it was a mess. Long story short, cashier could speak no english. They dont give receipts for give cards to show they have been activated nor do they have an envelope to put them in. It hit me hard, this is what happens when a place is supported by government money thru EBT or whatever they are, free money cards. Its hard to believe someone who works for their money would put themselves thru all of this. OOOO and on then way out, they practically strip search you. OK, so I came home and tried to send some girt cards from home so I could have some kind of receipt. They took the money out of my bank and didnt send the cards. Another very long story, I was hung up on when they couldnt figure things out, I was told it was my banks fault, even tho the bank sent the money. Lets just say...it was the worst experience Ive ever had, and if anyone deals with bank of america you know it can get bad. Is there not an American that will do customer service work. Customer service said they would call me back in 72 hours to tell me the problem, OK that should be interesting seeing as they didnt ask for my phone number. Wow 72 hours, ill let the person on the other end, standing at wal mart waiting for it know that info. I ended up selling my walmart stock. No way will be a party these people in any way. ROKU maybe ????
On a happy note, thanks to belks and target , Regal, ulta, DSW all angel tree gifts are delivered and feeling grateful to be able to do it. Makes Christmas Christmas. May all of you have have a very blessed and happy One.

Pam next time go to their Facebook site and send them a private message. I have found this technique gets you an answer and action much faster then going thru a phone complaint site. At least it has for me, but have not had to use it with Wal-Mart which is not known for good customer service so may or may not be helpful with them.

I had to put a new igniter in Sharon's dryer a few years back.
I pulled the front off of the dryer and found not just lint but a pile of compacted lint and particles of what ever cloth sheds nearly blocking half of the duct entrance.
I vacuumed-scraped that out and it dried much better.
I also pulled the vent off of the rear and found lint back there that sucked out easily.
It is not hard to pull the front off of most, just a bit annoying.

I use a solar dryer, AKA clothesline. It rarely rains here but this is the second time this week my wash is getting a second rinse. At least it doesn't freeze!!

My sister left her job (of 7 years) at Walmart to work elsewhere. Very happy for her...she never stopped complaining! But both of us have pain problems. Her from an unfortunate side effect of shingles and also maybe her age. For me, I had an accident last spring that virtually destroyed one lumber vertebrae with daily pain from that, along with degeneration from osteoporosis and arthritis. Tomorrow my pain clinic doctor will do a second diagnostic lumbar medial branch block injection...medical coverage requires two of those before they allow a different treatment every six months with radiofrequency ablation. Really hope that one will work well! I can't stand to do much work around here with this pain every day.

Linda, I've gone though that lower lumbar distress for years. This last summer was many nerve blocks and ablations. I got no real relief so soon I'll have Discectomy, grafting, fusion and plating in the lower 3 lumbar discs. They think I can get back to normal after this all heals. I'm sure hoping that's the case. I have a hard time doing housework and keeping up with plants outside and in my greenhouse. I have tried PT and everything else, so surgery is my last resort.

Right now I'm recovering from a neck discectomy from having 3 discs removed, grafted, fused, etc. I'm in a full neck brace except when eating or showering. It's a pain, but I'm hoping I'll have a good neck when it's finally all fused and healed.

I have missed seeing you posting. Felt like you might be having some health issures. I sure hope this surgery helps.

Yes, it's been a long haul, but the end is in sight. My husband has been a superb nurse, cooking and caring for me. He is doing all of the housework right now.

That is terriffic! A good husband like that is priceless! I was blessed with one like that as well!
