WOW - I love both of those, Fred. That first one -- Lovey dubby Lovey dubby -- how I do love those big green throats! And that's a wonderful pattern on the second. And I just discovered that my LILLIAN'S HOT AND SPICY has 3 little scapes starting! Hurray! I sure hope both of those seedlings stay around and that you will introduce them someday...

Just got back in town today, and here are a few seedlings I found blooming:

Keep in mind these are some first blooms on some of these, and that it was getting late in the afternoon before I got a chance to get a photo. The first one was most interesting to me, the fourth one was one I really liked the color of, the last one is a nice bloom, but so common looking. What impressed me with one and four also was the fact that they held their color so well so late, and the overall plants look good.

I did have quite a few new seedlings again this morning, here are a few of them.
These first four are from seeds grown from Hemlady here on the forum.

Nice seedlings Larry

Apologies for the photo, the DW took it while I was working and it was beaten down by the sun when I returned.

First flower yesterday on this cross of,

Spacecoast Peach Fringe x Premier Surprise

I am not too impressed with its short stature, and wispy fans. However, I also know that it is in a bed that isn't pampered. I do not have thousands or even hundreds of seedlings to deal with, so it's safe for now.

I love all these beautiful seedlings everyone is posting -- I just wish I had more and better seedlings, but unfortunately I'm still seeing first blooms from crosses made a few years ago.

Here are three siblings from a cross I made back in 2014, and this is the first year they've bloomed. The cross is PORT ORANGE x LILLIAN'S STUFF AND SUCH.

Thumb of 2019-05-09/Betja/b5cba4
I've already posted a picture of the first bloom of this seedling, but here it is as of yesterday. I love the coloring, but the form is not great -- I almost wonder if it's a seed from another cross and I got mixed up -- but I'm keeping it for now, anyway.

Thumb of 2019-05-09/Betja/713784
This was its first bloom, and I'm not impressed so it will probably leave after I've had a chance to see a few more blooms.

Love #1 and # 3 has such a lovely color.
They're very pretty flowers Betty. It amazes me how much
siblings can differ, but I like to see that as it keeps that
'box of chocolates' more interesting, for me anyway.

I have had a few small blooms lately, not a big fan of them but I thought I would try a few. Most have been plain yellow and mostly pale yellow. This one stood out compared to the others.
Thumb of 2019-05-10/Seedfork/7c2af8
Edited to add: Forgot the one I was most impressed with this morning. It does not look so impressive in the photo, but it really caught my attention in the garden.

Gorgeous seedlings, Fred. I love the look of that second one, the LILLIAN'S KATELYN JOY X GAELIC GALAXY seedling. And Larry, you've really gotten a great selection of really nice seedlings!

Wow, what a difference a day makes -- was it only yesterday that I decided I was probably going to scrap that second PORT ORANGE x LILLIAN'S STUFF AND SUCH sibling that I posted? Well today I went out there after our rain, and here was its second bloom - love it! So it's back as a first year keeper for now... and I even see the occasional tooth there! Hurray!

See there Betty, these plants sure can fool you.

There you go, Fred, big ole' beautiful blossoms!
I like all of them.

Larry, that's a lot of really lovely seedling varieties. Great colors,
unusual forms, little bitty ones, and oh well, I like them all.

Nice improvement Betty.
I was telling Kathleen last night what a difference it made in the color and brightness when I moved everything out of the pine bark filled boxes and planted everything in the ground. All the plants are so much larger and there is a noticeable difference in the colors. Same camera same settings.
