That sounds like a nice trip, Ann.

I started having a rapid, pounding heartbeat and I think it is because of the additional thyroid hormones I've been taking. I will call the doctor's office on Monday.

Home now. Need to assess my garden which was waaay behind. There were a few wilted plants on the patio - must not have been much rain last week, but I didn't dare leave them in trays where they'd drown. I have weed all over my garden - this one - https://cityroom.blogs.nytimes...

I believe there are underground roots as I've dug down deep for them and they still are back the next year. Once cut down in any one spot, they don't tend to come back that year, but I see them towering above my hostas all over the front garden and some in back too. I also have masses of crocuses from which to removed spent foliage; so that will be one job today. Also need to get some beans and other things planted into the garden.

Raining here so I doubt I will be able to do the long exercise walk with my dog that I had planned for today. I was going to do the 3 1/2 mile route same as we did yesterday.

Kelli, I hope you're feeling better. That's nothing to mess with. You should absolutely check with the doctor about the increased thyroid med.

My leg is still sore from the night time leg cramp. Usually lasts 5 to 7 days. Taking it easy today. Did a load of laundry, went to the garden center and hardware store... It just takes time for the muscle to recover.

Rained a lot yesterday, everything wet, so no outside time today, but had household duties anyway, hopefully tomorrow I will able to get out for a bit.

Be happy that you haven't. Just a few pictures from BEFORE my trip. After being away a week, there were many more towering above my hostas. And I had already dug out all of these.

Rained here yesterday too, but I did manage to get a round of hosta pictures in. They are predicting thunderstorms for the next 2 days. I've not yet planted my garden. Spent a lot of time on Monday pulling out those weeds and masses of crocus and tulip foliage. Did aquafit on Monday and will do it again today, but am nursing the knee which didn't fare too well on all the hills in Vancouver. My gardening is mostly using a stool.

Oh we spend lots of time outside in the garden all season as soon as the weather gets decent in the Spring. And also lots of exercise walking,

Today another 3 1/2 mile walk for us. Afterwards we sat out in the garden.

Aquafit this morning. Almost two hours in the garden this evening and a bit of running around to garden centres earlier.

I did get out in the yard for a while yesterday, despite leg pain. It's getting better. I put down more Preen and fertilizer as well as Ironite. Many of my flower leaves have turned yellow from all the excessive rain. I also did a little weeding. I hope to get out and do a little more this morning. I need to take advantage of the few sunny dry days we're having regardless of humid 90 degree weather. Glare

I don't know if or when I'm going to get to clean the house this week.

I think the rapid heart rate last week was due to anxiety more than anything. I do have ringing in my ears that started Wednesday last week. I didn't inquire about the heart rate and it has settled on its own, but I did ask about the ringing in my ears. The doctor said to stop using the T-3 for a week and see what happens. The ringing could also be from Nasacort. It's not bad and doesn't keep me awake or anything like that, but it happened all of a sudden.

Spent quite a bit of time in the garden yesterday. Got the zucchini and cucumbers transplanted into the garden. Am going to try to go UP this year. I'm not growing many tomatoes as I have no space to rotate them; so I've got a few cherries in large pots but not in the garden. The beans should have already been planted, but ... For the squash and cukes, I bought a section of wire closet shelf and placed it upright in the garden, well attached to the poles I already have. We'll see how it works. I don't normally grow cabbage and Brussels sprouts, but I found some half price in a garden centre yesterday and figured they were so cheap I had nothing to lose. Still have several flats of plants to get into the ground and it's been really warm - a bit of a shock after several days in Vancouver where it was sweater weather all the time.

Yesterday we went to Kamloops, I had my annual eye checkup, everything is good. Big Grin We got lots of exercise walking around the big box stores, my feet were really sore by the time we got home. It was a rainy day with thunder storms all over, we got a lot of rain last night, and it is raining today. Still not going to complain, that's better than dry forests.
