Thanks Tink. I will do that. He has such nice plants I am looking at a few others. I wonder if it is possible to be held until spring if I get more than the 1 or 2??

WOW Lyle -- I just caught up form July 21st! All are so gorgeous! Love the white/cream teeth on the dark purples! Stunning!

Thanks for the comments...

I find a nice round form more important than even color, I will take these two, with the above two, and see what they may bring to my program...for most hybridizers time is the enemy.

That scape of Haboob is killing me. Just gorgeous.

Me too Lyle. I like round forms best of all. You are so right about
time being the enemy. It takes soooo long to get there. I have not
heard that before, but sure have thought it often enough.

Yes I know that time is definitely the enemy. Every year I am a year older I find it's harder to do the things in the garden that I did last year. And I wish you could get bloom in one year, that would be ideal.

Cindy, I am finding the same thing, I don't have the stamina that I used to have, and I get tired a lot more easily. Bloom in one season like Lyle and Fred would be great!! nodding

Thanks Pam! - I live north of Phoenix, and don't get as much dust as they get in the city...

HABOOB - I like the flower better - also.

Even with first year bloom, not all seedlings bloom their first year in my garden, so it can take 3-4 years to get a final evaluation on a seedling.

Lyle, that dust storm is amazingly huge. I didn't know such things
occur in AZ. Thanks for posting the photo. You explained this before,
and I was amazed the first time, but had forgotten about it. Green Grin!
