Leon, this one has good bud count, branching, and seems to grow well. It also has nice strong stems that hold up without falling over. Lacks uniqueness though. I have this habit of taking pictures of the first flower open, and then not going back to take a picture of later, perhaps nicer formed blossoms. I should get my act together, but it seems that I have so many new ones to take pictures of that I get lost in the process.

Here is 15=3-B It's a sibling to the above. Similar, but with a tiny bit of blue on the end of the beard.

Nice ruffling, and good clean color.. I like the first pink slightly more.. but I do like a blue beard w/ pink a lot.. I'm curious to know how many seedlings you got from that cross.. are there more coming? Drooling

Thanks for the comment, yet there are a quite a few that bloomed. Some are very similar to each other of course, and some are different as you will see. This last one I like more in person then in picture. It's fertile and I got two pods on it from Don't Stop Believing. It's real tall, but unlike DSB it never fell over in the wind and storms we had all summer. I may get some really tall ones out of this cross though.

As you can see this one turned out with a different colored dark top.

Of the last ones I like 15-3-A for its very pure soft pink color...
... and 15-3-C because the standards add a cold fresh feeling to it.

Do they also have the same strong stems as 15-3-B?

Tom ~ You are in "the pink"! Lovely seedlings! So far, my fave is with the blue beard.

Tom, those are just lovely. I like the first of your pink ones best for the soft colour and good form. Like that blue beard too! Thumbs up

Of this last group of pinks, I like the first one 15-3-A the best - that more intensely colored underside on the falls really intrigues me. Also, for my taste, I think the height of the standards is in better proportion to the size of the falls, than with the siblings.
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom

This one bloomed shorter, in the BB range. Not sure if it will continue to do that.

I think A has better form than B. Love the color of the standards on the darktop C. D seems to have more rosy pink than A & B. You got some nice results in this cross.

It would be hard to describe D's color. It seems to be a bit of blue influence to the pink, especially below the beards. The blue shows up more to the eye then to my camera.

I found anther picture of 15-3-A taken in the sun, more relaxed, and not wet with rain.

So Tom, are your flags used to flag the seedlings you are keeping another year? Or are they there for another reason?
