Sounds like a plan! Just make sure that two horse shoes are at the bottom of the circle to catch your good luck. Otherwise, all the good luck will spill out! I'm just sayin' ! Whistling

I like it too and I like it in its natural state. I love to go to a garden and not have everything presented at once but to go wandering and come upon delightful surprises. Drift wood, rusty metal garden tools, old buckets.... all in their natural state add charm and character to a garden without competing with colorful blooms, butterflies and birds. It will look great wherever you put it.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

Thanks, all. I really like it, and there are lots of places it would look good. I have a big old stump I could nail it to, as well.

I'm for keeping it the way it is to Woofie.

It could look good over a doorway for good luck;.......like a horseshoe.

Imagine its the shoe for an exotic breed on a far distant planet that has rose shaped hoof pleats!!! How much luck could that bring!

Rub all lottery tickets on it as you enter that door;....wheather the back, barn, or front! Smiling

Thanks Sharon.. go to her site too.. many more horses and other animals under the outddoor sculpture.. and great colored smaller pices.. and a bit of her talking about the work... she uses the rebar as it comes bent.. rather than bending it.. altough she does do some... yes a geart body of work

Oh I did!! The only one that really bothered my soft side was the fallen horse. I think I've watched the KY Derby too many times.
But oh how well she captured the power of those animals. Such grace in motion.

I think on the home page is the Elk swimming. Totally grabbed me. One of those lose your breath moments, you know?

The lines look like gesture drawings, the kind taught when learning to draw movement and form.
Osprey, not an eagle. Beautiful.

My Pleasure to show them..I know how ya'll like to see old used iron...bent..discarded and then used... for beauty... perhaps without painting... the fluidity of the cats really got to me... and the water based ones were so good...almost relaxing...guess in steel they will have a more limited lifetime there... [adversly effect the water.. maybe a little... the beauty ..would off set that ]
Sharon... the first bird might well have been an eagle... I know the one with elevated nest near the water .. a new piece..was an ospray...[ Fish Hawk]
as that was what the text that came with my picture said.. you might have to count wing feathers for a firm ID...we have ealges pretty close to the city.. and plenty of Hawks and falcons returning to live here.... even on the building ledges.. I saw a red tailed hawk on my A/C unit... ripping something apart one morning..

I love metal artwork for the garden. Unfortunately, I doubt whether I'll purchase any more as everything just rusts so quickly and then they fall apart. I've had to throw a few things out this past month. I had some metal stands and containers for pots -- quite attractive; but the rust got so bad and they became unstable to put anything slightly heavy on or in them. I've even sprayed them with clear rustoleum; but it still happens. Sad
