Well, today I had my first bloom to show some degree of sculpted relief... actually I had two. STP x PP and SLC X PP.

Parents unknown on this seedling.It has shown petaloid doubling in the past, so I'm giving it another chance maybe for breeding. Otherwise headed for the mulch pile.

My own registered daylilies are blooming way early due to no winter I'm guessing. Now It has been in the 40s and low 50s at night after being in high 60s and low 70s the month of March and half of April.
This is the third one I have chosen to look at another year.

Misc Seedling FFOs from yesterday, Midnight hail/rain messed up today's blooms. The last two have been around for several years as landscaping

A "Stella" self/bee from leftover seed I just threw on the ground that came up

From a seedling cross. This was a short scape but rebloom scapes are reasonably tall. Personally like the eye shape.


A really bright 4" you can see from a long ways. This plant has doubled with petaloids in the past.

This is the first seedling I picked out from the 2017 batch of seedlings to watch some more. It stood out from the get go because of its beautiful foliage. So today it bloomed, I could tell right off it was a cross with 'Mister Lucky', and the bloom was just as pretty but much larger, the scape is coming along fine and looks like will have some decent branching developing. It was crossed with Gypsy Rose Lee.
