Sure thing, Elaine. It's been raining off and on all day. I'm thankful for the OC.

Amazing blooms, Bree!

Jim that Miltassia is just a thing of beauty. Graceful plant, gorgeous blooms.

A better shot of my new purple Blc - softer evening light doesn't wash out the color so much.

Thanks. Smiling
Jim, as I mentioned before, Phrags bloom so much easier in my hands than Paphs. Once they find their voice, they will bloom regularly under my conditions. Paphs? Once in a Blue Moon, if I get very lucky.

Under my conditions, all slippers are very iffy. I get my slipper fix on this thread and stick to surer bets in the OC.

I have paphs that are very consistent bloomers but many just look at me with blank stares. My phrags are much more animated.
I can't grow tons of things like grammatophyllums and psychopsis but I'm quite content to watch yours, Jim.

I agree Excellent, Jim. I fear I, too, will have to enjoy the wonderful Paph blooms of others. Although, I must admit when they suddenly appear in bloom at a big box store they do tend to jump into my shopping cart . . . so, like Ursula with the Phals, I will give them garden room as long as they survive after the flowers finish. They do have nice leaves.

I've two blooms out fully on my purple Catt, but will restrain myself from posting more pictures until the 3rd bud opens - maybe later today. Smells delicious.

Couldn't resist, as I was walking by with the camera in my hand . . . Besides the third bud was almost open, and it was poking its lip into it's sister. Typical sibling behaviour, right?

So, yes, I had to 'mess with success' and a couple of styro-peanuts in there will hopefully keep its face turned outward.
