Sorry to hear of your snow damage, Jo Ann.
Just the opposite here. Because we've had little snow to shovel onto the roses, the rabbits are eating them. Most of my floribundas and other shrub roses are just stumps right now...some of those remaining canes are peeled as well. I should have buried them with compost like I usually do, but that task didn't get done this winter.
I'm hoping your plant makes a nice recovery.

Do you have any sprouts yet? On a whim, I tossed some Lupine seeds in a spare container and kept them indoors. They started showing a couple of days ago.
I'm always extra tickled to see those first ones of the season appear.
