I like vigorous plants! I also give a lot of plants to family and friends. When I was a SS teacher the kids would get them someties for a Mother's Day gift. Freebies are good!

They sure are! The more vigorous they are then the faster you get to share them. And share more often.

I would much rather a vigorous plant than one that stays at l or 2 fans for 3 or 4 years.

The only plant that I have had that stayed at 2 fans for 3 yrs was FASHION POLICE

It had a great bloom but I just could NOT get it to grow. So I sold it on the LA for a fraction that I had in it.

More daylilies!!!!

Johnny Cash did that to me, just sat and did nothing for 3 years. So, I moved him and threatened him with the compost pile, so he bloomed! and set pods! Not sure if it was the new spot or the threat

It's my cats world, I'm just here to open the cans.

Speaking of Earthstar, he's the one I get my hybridizing supplies from. Can't remember who, but someone here let us know about him and I just love those little centrifuge tubes and boxes, etc., that I get from him. And I also got two plants of his own small daylily CRYSTAL WIND, an adorable toothy golden yellow, from him through the Lily Auction store a couple of months ago. He's great to deal with.

I am real happy with the fans I got from Subhanaflourishing they were so big I had to pot them up in 2.5 gallon pots. I have been sick and it's too cold to get out in the yard. I can light my kero heater and pot things up in the garage. My husband carries them out to the yard....I am soooo spoiled.

Thank you ladies!! Yes, DH's are a blessing!! .

BTW, I just got around to looking up the bonus plant that carypeterson sent me when I purchased 3F of LARGER THAN LIFE. The bonus plant was ELIZABETH MAGIC. I really like it, very pretty flower.

I only wish my DH liked to garden. He likes to mow and keep everything tidy, so I cannot complain. He just doesn't get this plant collecting thing lol.

Mine DH is good at mowing but that is all. He does do whatever I ask him to do and I do know his limits. He can dig holes, just don't ask him to put anything in there.

I won another daylily from Curve today and it was BEAUTIFUL EDGINGS, its a bud builder so I am very happy!
Also have won two others so far, PANDORAS BOX, and ALL FIRED UP all of these are three fans.
