I got two from Abundant and they are splitting and making scapes. They were a medium size.

The ones I got from Floyd Cove are also making scapes, but they are huge plants.

Thanks Susan, I have large single fans that did great, but the small ones
not so much. Going on the third year on some to see if they bloom, and I
doubt they will.

Do you have a cold frame? Seems like that would keep them warmer and you might be able to get some good growth on those plants. Just saying, wow third year? Must have been really small. Blinking

Ive never heard of one having a seed pod. Interesting.

I got one too, I dont now why, I wish someone had at least one good garden picture. I broke a cardinal rule of mine when I bought it anyway, never seeing a picture. Maybe they just take a couple years to settle in.

I never took a photo of it last year because I never could get a good photo. I don't have scapes on mine yet this year.

I like to check Guidry's Daylilies for garden pictures of newer daylilies. He has posted a couple of nice pic's of CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE, in case anyone is interested, Group #1 is A-C in alpha order, although at the end of each group he posts later pictures that are not in alpha order too. Also, be sure and click on the pictures to enlarge them, as the tiny ones look sort of blurry to my tired old eyes.

I decided I really wanted it after seeing his pictures and added it to my Floyd Cove order.

I like looking at those as well. It made me take lots off my list, which leaves time and money for the ones you now know you do want. I love the three pictures.

I just had to look. I found Dr. Stump and I think it has 4 photos and it just increased my desire to buy that beautiful plant. It's sooooooooo expensive. If it is a good pod and pollen parent, I think it just might be worth the price but I'm probably going to stretch it out until fall or next Spring to see if it will come down just a tad. I've never ever never even considered paying this much for a plant but I really reallly reallllllly would love to buy it.

I'm dreaming of a four leaf clover, over the rainbow, at the end is a pot of gold and it's called "Dr Stump". I can dream, can't I????? Drooling Drooling
