I have a watch list of about 10 now for Floyd Cove. Want to see how the ones
I'm getting from them, due to arrive next month, survive the winter. The winter temps
are colder this year than last year, and some of my plants don't like it. A few have
diminished in size by one fan, but a few have added a fan since Fall. At least I
haven't lost any as yet.

Another reason I'm so thrilled with my Floyd Cove order -- I just did a check today, and I already have scapes emerging on BURMESE JADE, MARINA DEL REY, ROLLERCOASTER RUSH, SPINEFELD, VERDANT SPRING and VIVACIOUS SPIRIT!

That is wonderful Betty, I see you are a bit warmer than me but I will keep a watchful eye on my babies. I got an email from Floyd Cove today and they said they had been busy. I was asking if I could add 'Tahitian Shores' to my order because I kept losing on the LA. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures because I have none of those and I like to see new things. That sounds like a wonderful collection of beauties you're getting there, Susan, and I can't wait to see your pictures too! I also gave up on the LA for purchasing CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE and VIVACIOUS SPIRIT for the same reason, and the plants I got from Floyd Cove instead were totally fantastic and were each just a matter of a few dollars difference over what they were going for on the LA! They sent two huge fans of each, and I actually potted them in two 2-gal pots each. CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE doesn't have a scape emerging yet, but it looks very promising and I do not regret at all purchasing them from the hybridizer for a few dollars more rather than on the Lily Auction. Just wait until you get your order from them -- you won't believe it! You will be soooooo jazzed!

Thanks Betty!. I love CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE, I am sure I was biding on that one too at some point. I will just get it from FC next year. Like you said, for a few dollars more you get huge double fans! I am so excited about my order, I can't wait to see them. Also I told them they could ship anytime, on the original order I had put end of April, so good for me right? Woohoo!

Susan, I just remembered that they have a schedule for sending out each order, so you might ask what date they have yours scheduled for and see if it can be moved up if you would like your order earlier. I called Karen to confirm the date when my order would ship, and even though I had put "Early March" they had it scheduled for March 11th, which was still OK. But I think next year I'll specify an exact calendar date for my spring order. Guy had foot surgery last month and I don't know if he can do the heavy lifting yet, so that might be putting more work on Karen. I really like talking with her on the phone -- she has the cutest Aussie accent!

We got our order from Floyd Cove yesterday. All of the fans were very large. Such beautiful healthy plants! They sent Ocean Rainbow and Little Wild Thing as the bonuses. Also, they sent a DF of Mystic Image for our 2014 Region 5 Spring Meeting auction which will help to fund the region meeting. Could not be more pleased!

Wow, those are beautiful. I was reading on Floyd Cove that LWT is very vigorous. And Ocean Rainbow is a stunner!!

I was glad to get Little Wild Thing as a gift, because David had commented that he liked it after I had placed our order. I had meant to add it to our order but had forgotten to. We also got Little Alabama and Little Dunkin, so they probably figured that we also liked the miniatures and smalls.

I am pretty much done with the LA, Next year or this fall if I order it will be Maryott's or Floyd Cove. I can't wait to see what they send as a bonus plant. This is what it says under 'General Information' @ the website.

OMG! I just looked up Little Alabama. That is the sweetest mini I have ever seen! I have never saw mini's that beautiful and Little Dunkin is beautiful too. I want them all!. I like FC's mini's and I don't usually buy mini's. I ended up with a few by accident then decided to add Baby Betsy and do a border with them.

Guy said that LWT went from 25 fans to 400 in only three years! I added it to my want list just in-case anyone becomes over whelmed with fans.

I got my order from Floyd Cove today. And my, what nice bonus plants. I got 'OCEAN RAINBOW' , BLUE RHINO , CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE & ROLLERCOASTER RUSH.
These people must be physic because I was just admiring Doris's OCEAN RAINBOW and I was actually biding on CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE and lost. I love ROLLERCOASTER RUSH , this is a beautiful daylily and I am very excited about my new introductions and my order. These fans were HUGE!!!

OOH! Very nice, Susan. I know you are excited to get such nice plants. I like all of your bonus daylilies, too. We are all looking forward to pictures of the blooms in a month or so.

Fantastic, Susan! I just knew it would be a good order, and you got some great bonus plants too! I have scapes coming up all over the place from my Floyd Cove plants -- simply can't wait!!! And hopefully you'll let us know which ones have scapes coming up for you in a couple of weeks. The one I'm still waiting for is CHERRY ICE CREAM SMILE -- just about all the others have scapes now. But none of my "regular" daylilies have scapes yet, so it's a real treat to look out there right now!

I am really excited about Rollercoaster Rush and the other bonuses, they are wonderful and such great gifts that I really was not expecting. Glad to know everyone is doing good and I will let you know when I see scapes, I guess it will be soon!
