This thread needs to be revived. Melva I misplaced my annotated rose list, but I am trying to redo it so that I can get my order in soon. I hope everyone is doing likewise.

I was looking at the roses I 'stuck' in September and I have some rooted ones.

and those are just the ones that are in the drive way...I am finally going to be able to get outside tomorrow, and I plan to "stick" a lot more...
and I am sure I am going to find more rooted roses....I still haven't checked all the cuttings that I have started.

How's the arm?

The arm is better but still hurts at times..takes a long time for a shoulder to heal and I have been told it is never the same. I am still not able to get in, and out of the bathtub...I have my gardening bench in there that I use to take a bath, but I miss being able to totally submerge myself. Showers have never been my thing, I am a water baby and my tub is a garden tub with jets..I miss being able to use it!

I found some rooted cuttings of Debutante....and some Laure Davoust....they should be ready to go, in the fall.

I didn't forget about you, just have been busy with life. The dr. gave me a cortisone injection in my shoulder. I hurt the "rotator cuff". The lidocane in the shot helped immediately and the cortisone seems to be helping. Now I am doing wierd stretches and starting to be almost myself. I was thinking of you Melva, glad that I didn't need surgery. Hope you are doing better as well. I just have to stop battling bounders (or find a big strong man to move my rocks for me....)

I have been looking at my muddy, slushy mess of a late winter/early spring garden to see if any roses need moving and, more importantly, where to put some new ones!!!

Thanks for thinking of me..it has been a long road, I am a lot better but despair that the shoulder will ever be the same, and wondering why in the world this could not have happened 30 years ago...recovery would have been easier then.
I am slowly getting back to work outside with the roses..I see a lot of things that need to be done...roses to move, etc. and some to replace, when I can. and I have some coming from Vintage at the end of the month. It looks as if I lost a few to the freaky snow we had this year. (freaky for us)
Glad you are better, sore shoulders are the pits.

I have been working starting lots of roses..think I will have about 200 of them ready in the fall...I started a lot thinking they wouldn't all root...Surprise!
