I really like these Stachys! The first year they didn't impress me all that much, but this year they were great.

That is a part shade area so far from my deck view I tend to ignore it.
I grow Hummeloes with lilies and echies. They were new last year and put on a beautiful show.

If you are referring to my hummelos .They start in June and go til late summer.

Do you deadhead the hummelos? That's a great long bloom time.

Yes they do get deadheaded to avoide seeding.Alas the crew cut mine back this fall cleanup.I am mpraying they didnt do too much harm as Bluestone notes say not to cut them.

I'm thinking that they must like it OK, and that's why you get so much bloom. I'm notorious for not deadheading.

There are 3 plants crammed in there.I hope they made babies in case the parent plants were cut too short.
