I went to the Nashville L and Garden Show. I had never seen a spiky plant in the middle of a large container of succulents. It was interesting, sorry I don't have a pic of it.

I love planning for my container before it is time to plant too. It has been snowy here so a good time to computer garden Rolling my eyes.

Jo Ann that is going to be beautiful. Is the red one Pacific Devil's Food? If so you will love the way it changes color. It never goes green, but stays in shades of red, brown and dark tan.
Love that red and yellow sedum, what a stand out it is.

Jo Ann they went out of circulation a long time back, unless someone has the brains to read Shakespeare Sad . Not my cup of tea exactly.
Wonderful Semps though. I am getting a bit of heartburn's.
Bittern is a bird in some dialect of Europe. "hæferblæte in Old English; the word "bittern" came to English from Old French butor"

We'll have to wait and see Jo Ann. This year will be a little off kilter for it, with the move. But it should still reward you with some color changes this year.

Teresa, i did a lot of on-line & catalog surfing before i ordered any because this is the first year i've ever grown them so i didn't spend a lot of money.I really liked Simply succulents, perennial Obsessions & North Hill Nursery are the first 3 that come to mind. When i think about semps with red in them the ones i remember are 'Jungle Fires' & 'Sir William Lawrence'. Hope that helped you!!

Jo Ann, Is the 3rd picture Sedum refluxum 'angela' or some kind of womans name like that or is it another one. I agree with Lynn, the brightly colored plant will be an eye catcher. Can't wait to see the containers your make with them plants. Hurray!
OH YEA,what is the plant in the 1st picture?

Sorry i spend most of my time on here asking you what are the names of the plants in your pictures, but i have to hand it to you,I've never seen such beautiful brightly colored plants & their blooms as the ones you pick. You have an artistic eye with plants, wish i did!! Rolling my eyes.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
