Hurray! Especially since they could look different and possibly be from the same parentage! I love the idea of a NOID club! Pia you're on your way!! I think I'm going to save seeds this year! What I did do is leave the flower stalks on as long as possible, and on one I even planted it lightly in soil and got a couple babies that way! Thumbs up

Just start making those want and have lists. They will come in handy. And again, don't forget you can trade with other plants, not just sempervivum.
Also remember when the trading starts, to conduct trades by Tree-mail, not posting here in the threads. Lots less confusion that way. Thumbs up

Afterglow will more than likely take off in high speed once the weather warms a bit more. She did last year. I have several that struggle during the long winter wet/freeze/thaw/freeze again/wet again, and more cold. Rolling my eyes.
All rebound quickly once the weather improves.
I don't think I've ever had a problem with Fiesta. It seems to be one of the tough ones, at least for me.

Lynn,

Just for clarification. Does someone sometime post their lists of Haves for trade - with a will trade for???

Or do we just go to the lists and look at what people have and then ask them if they have some to share or trade?

Or if we have extras of something do we try to find someone in the lists who want it and then approach them?

Since I joined so late in the spring I missed all this last year.

Still learning my way around.
Thanks, I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

It is all a private thing by Tree-mail. Some times in a thread, when we see that some one mentions they have some thing for trade, you can post to it saying 'Sending you a tree-mail'. Click on their name and send them a tree-mail.

Then if there is a particular plant you want that is in the database, and it shows that some on has that plant (top left corner), click on that and see who has it. Then tree-mail them. Some times people will do a trade, or if you don't have anything they want they might just have you pay postage, or might even ask for postage plus a small amount more. Most people trade though.
You would work it all out for what is expected from each person in the trade, by Tree-mail.

I agree And they are always so healthy and ready to take off growing.

Serse, I am so excited for you. Those are going to be so much fun to watch through this growing season. Don't forget to add them to the database. Hurray!
That way we can easily find their photos from babyhood to maturity. Hurray!

And it looks like your photos will be the first one for Jovibarba sobolifera 'Madame Lorene'. Starting off with her baby photo. Hurray!

You are not kidding, Greg! This site is just fueling the fire! Now I have my Jovis, but I still have yet to get my first semp! My search for the perfect first sempervivum for my collection is still an ongoing one-- any suggestions out there?? I can't make a decision, it's too difficult!
