Just a follow up, I did get an initial e-mail back from her (as advised, it took a little while, about 7 days) but haven't heard anything since. I am trying to determine availability (most of my initial list was sold out) and looking to get my 2017 iris orders finalized soon. Maybe I should just try calling...

How about Stoney Creek Iris? Anyone have experience here? I placed an order on 5/30, to which I got an e-mail saying I would get a confirmation # shortly, but I never got a confirmation. I have not heard anything back from the 2 follow up e-mails I sent. (No phone number listed on the site either)

I suppose everyone is just very busy right now, as prime season is in gear for most gardeners!

I don't have any experience with them. You might try a message through their Facebook page if you use that outlet. My interpretation of their website text is you might not hear anything until June 14th.

"The list is now updated. You can place orders beginning at midnight EST on June 14. Orders that arrive sooner will go to the end of the line...And if you'd like a grab bag of unlabeled but beautiful iris, let me know...There's no button to push for this option yet, so if you're interested you'll need to shoot me an email (use the contact link at the top of this page), but........wait until the 14th please."

Eartheart Gardens no longer ships iris. They had an extensive inventory of Japanese iris, but I guess you will now need to call them and then go and pick up any you are interested in buying.

@brozeus ~ Mary emailed me this morning. I will email her my want list, and then she will email me back as to what is available. She needs a better website that can track and acknowledge the out of stocks. She is aware of this, but is unable to fix the problem right now.

If any of you know how to set up an iris business website, please let her know.

I don't have a issue with the website as much, it is just that it has been slightly difficult to communicate (e-mails/phone calls not answered, or a long time in between). I will chalk it up to the fact that she is very busy, trying to run a one-woman operation. She did say she was also out of town for 2 weeks, so thus why she had not been able to reply to my e-mail or call. To reiterate, she sounded like a very lovely woman, and I don't want to deter anyone from ordering from her. I am sure it is a major challenge to run such a large operation with little or no help! My payment has not yet been cashed, although I suppose she is waiting until she actually ships the rhizomes to cash the check.

On a separate note, I have still received no communication from Stoney Creek Iris. I initially placed an order in early June, but never got the follow up confirmation referenced in the initial order. Then the website was updated to indicate that orders received prior to June 14 would not be processed until all other orders were filled. So I placed another order on June 14, along with a note saying to cancel my initial order. Again, seem situation, never got the confirmation e-mail. I have reached out a few more times via e-mail (there is no phone number listed on the website) and my wife reached out on my behalf via FB (I do not have an account). Still absolutely no communication. If anyone else has successfully ordered from Stoney Creek, I would love to hear your experience.

Thanks!

The iris whisperer link does not work. I think it is no longer active.

Just chiming in to say my Iris Sisters order arrived yesterday.

Wow! I know it is common to include a few extras, but I was blown away. I ordered 4 rhizomes, and in addition, Robin included 7 bonus freebies (6 different varieties)! Hurray! Sticking tongue out

The only downside is I now my *CAREFULLY* planned out iris bed has to accommodate a bunch of new residents! Hilarious! A good problem to have to be sure.

For any Europeans, here's a link to Kat Zalewska's new website:

http://www.irisland.eu/en/iris...

I have always been delighted with her irises - she sends big, fresh rhizomes and has sent me as bonuses irises so new that they are still in the process of being registered. She's from Poland but lives and works in England (married an Englishman).
