I quite like your red Plumeria, Daphne. (My "Duke" is a Kahanamoku, ukulele !)
I can recall, quite enormous Plumeria, & were really true trees, were so very old.
If you could ever imagine, or have seen that, & that sap, can be rather an irritant to some individuals.

Perhaps, I'll just send off a Text, & ask my elder sister for a "starter", of red , (if any remain, still available, at Walmart.)

Yes, they've Dept. of Agriculture. variety of seeds, "starter" plants, such as Plumeria from there... plus, Ti "logs" , Hibiscus "cutting" (a short, thick "stick,") etc... already "stamped red", quite ready, for "take out out," & travel ! Macadamia nut, Kona Coffee, (unroasted,), Guava, & Passiflora seeds. Well, you &, others get the idea now...
(Some, even offered Orchids, ready to go.) Of course, they still ship Pineapples, in a box, too !

yes, but they were getting too big for me to lug around. 'specially in the winter when temps dropped in the 30's and i had to cover them and the citruses.

better they went to someone who'd be better equipped than i, to deal with them. loved them while i had them.

I received my Sutton rebloomer's yesterday. It is almost 100° here in North Louisiana. Our planting time is September. How do I hold these until then. No way they will root in this heat.

I would pot them up in a well-draining potting soil, and put them under a tree until the weather cools down.

...and don't forget to water them.

Robin, I think you can get Keppel irises in Australia via Mid America. You will have to contact Tom Johnson to make arrangements.
