Just got my computer back last night. I had to limp it along through semp week but it's all better now!

Greg, what a wonderful compliment from the lady passing by. I'm sure many more people are thinking the same thing as her. Everyone loves beauty and I'm sure all your efforts are making lots of people happy. Lovey dubby Sorry to hear about your plants getting ripped out. Were they semps or something else?

Jackie, yup, that's the wonderful chicken grit! You'll love it!

My neighbor has a black lab that's about 5 years old and acts about 5 months old. She runs through all my gardens tearing things up. Grumbling She's a big, old loveable dummy. Lovey dubby I just wish her owners would have trained her better.

Yeah my dog is such a big baby as well but she's well trained. She just loves to run though but I don't blame her I will just have to get at her if she starts getting in my beds. HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!! No spring in michigan yet though....high of 28 degrees. Crying

MY cat got curious last weekend and came ouver to see what I was doing (a bit of repotting). In order to get a better view he jumped up onto my semp baths and sat on my Othello! Needless to say as soon as I noticed where he was he was told to move. Sharpish!
On another note, I was a bit worried whe I fist planted my baths, all the white stone on top looked rather like a litter tray..... But fortunately none of the neighbourhood cats agreed with me. Phew! Rolling on the floor laughing

Lol Jackie, try pepper sprinkled onto the soil, it gets up their noses and makes them sneeze. I have to do this with my outside plants, our neighbours cat seems to think that my geranium pots are for marking territory on Angry I wouldn't mind, but they sit just infront of an air vent into my living room and I can smell it inside UGHHHH! But a good coating of pepper early in spring and kitty doesn't attempt to spray on them. Thumbs up

My mom had a cat that just loved Spider plant. So she just gave him one to munch on at his leisure. He also used to go crazy for cucumber peel!

Yeah well my cat doesn't spray or anything and he always stays indoors but he just munches on the leaves on my palm. I had my 2 spider plants just on a shelf and he was eating those so I had to quickly hang those up before he had a chance to eat the whole plants. Thumbs down I could try pepper but he doesn't care about the soil part of it and it's a pretty big palm right now.

Maybe a light dusting on the leaves then? One bite of that and he wont want to try it again.

I have 9 chicks left from the Hen that pasted away recently and they seem to be more happy with me as well! Can't wait to see what they do outdoors! Scared to put them out in the little greenhouse for fear I will come home from work and they will be dead Sad
