I totally agree!! I'll have to remember and bring some pots! (I do have one that I know you'll like, but have to drill holes!) I tip my hat to you.

My fav is the snail as well. I was thinking that a darker purple would look really nice in there. Awesome job Lynn!!! Your very talented and have a great eye. Now I cant wait to find more pots for my babies!! Please keep us updated with new pics of them growing. That first little blends in so well with the colors from your semps! LOVE IT! Drooling Smiling

The tiny first container is made from some kind of resin and was easy to drill. Must have been a ring box? The plant is Rosularia platyphylla, another tough, drought tolerant plant.
You can't tell from the photos, but most of the semps have tiny babies tucked up under the leaves. Hurray!
A little Easter Basket. In a month it will be filled and overflowing with tiny fuzzy green semps.

Hope this one with Sedum 'Limelight' roots quickly. I really liked the lime green with the blue container.
Thumb of 2013-03-28/valleylynn/88ab95

Duck, wonder if I should have used a really dark semp for this one?
Thumb of 2013-03-28/valleylynn/c7e73b

Saxifraga on the left, semps on the right. The cream colored container in the background has a Jovi in it. It's hard to tell, but the dark leaf tips are the same color as the trim on the pot.

To bad I don't have a semp named cocoa for this half cup. Rolling on the floor laughing
Thumb of 2013-03-28/valleylynn/1485e0

I paid anywhere from 25¢ to 75¢.

Lovely! It would be fun to have a pot party Rolling on the floor laughing . What do you use to drill a hole in ceramic so it doesn't break?

Course sandpaper to break the hard outer finish and a diamond bit for the really hard type ceramics. And water while drilling. The other stuff drills easily with a regular bit. It doesn't take long to get a feel for what will be more difficult to drill.

Pot Party. Hurray! Hurray!

Lynn, could it be the amount of bleu cheese you have consumed recently?
