Here is an update from the OC: First up is Enc. cordigera 'Chocolate Violets' x Epi. atronecium 'Mother's Day'. I bought it from Chapman's up in Apopka last November so it is a first time bloomer for me. The lip looks like purple velvet.
Then there is Brassolaelia Memoria Bernice Foster which is Bl. Richard Meuller X subulifolla. It last bloomed in May,2012 so it is a little early this year.
I think this is Potinara Hoku Gem 'Freckles'.
This dancing lady Oncidium is really putting on a show:
My Wilsonara Pacific Lush 'Pretty in Pink' is in full bloom. I love the color.
Finally, Lc. Eva has put out another new spike.

Susan, those two orchids of yours are beauties. I don't even try to grow Miltonias anymore as I kill them within a day or two. I had to look up the Burr. and found it is a intergeneric hybrid between the orchid genera Cochlioda, Miltonia, Odontoglossum and Oncidium (Cda. x Milt. x Odm. x Onc.). First time it was grown was in 1927 by American Albert Burrage. I really like it but have never attempted one.

Susan, nothing wrong with a little bit obsessive
Very pretty, I love them both!
Jim, your "stuff" gets prettier all the time. And yes, that looks like fresh/ just opened 'Freckles'
I am smitten with the Enc cordigera x and the Dancing Ladies is a gorgeous plant too!

We're about a month behind on the West coast, but I'm getting a few blooms here.
Maxillaria picta 'yellow' Sarcochillus Fitzhart Den. Jonesii
I keep forgetting my NOID Epi, which is always in bloom, and much more well mannered than Epi radicans
And my poor neglected Den.kingianum peeking through the railing

A last look at the late Cyms on the back steps (with a couple of Epi radicans blooms peeking through them
I wish I were aging as gracefully as this one
Very nice show, Carol. I like them all. The mop-head Jonesii is really neat. I may have to get one of those. I also like the Max. Good growing, Carol!
I just went out to the OC and found another bloomer. This is Epc. Haiku Twinkie 'Red Elf': The flowers were facing the outside and I missed it earlier.
I was playing with the little species Phal. Guadalupe Pineda to see if I could get a nice back-lit picture. This is the best I could do:

Carol, good looking blooms. All I got is some cyms and that Lusidia. Lots of new growth after this lousy winter we had. I want Den. Jonesii Really love the look. Do you keep it in your orchid shed? Or on the porch. On my list along with that Euchile citrine you have.

Thanks guys! Jim Love 'Red Elf', and great shot on the Phal..
Ted 'Jonesii' is top shelf in the shack. From Andy's. If you are going to the "Spring garden Show" you may find a dormant citrina from the guy that sells all the exotic bulbs. Viverus Tropicals. I like the Ludisia blooms!

I agree, love that Den jonesii, and also Jim's 'Red Elf'. Pretty colors on Guadelupe Pineda, too.
Really glad to see your Ludisia flowers as well, Ted. Mine had already bloomed when I got them, I'm pretty sure, so I won't see any flowers from them until next winter

Carol, my Max picta is starting the new growth now. Does that mean it missed its blooming cycle again or do the blooms emerge with the new growth? Your plant looks great! I can't figure out what this one needs to bloom, I have that plant for quite a few years now and it never bloomed.
Jim, you captured the back-lit Phal nicely! Very pretty!
The lip on that 'Red Elf' is interesting.

Ursula, The blooms and new growth come together on mine. They need very bright light to bloom, according to Andy. Mine are right up near the ceiling. I believe those dark shoots in the pic. are new growth.
Hey Carol! You've got so much going on this month at your house...NICE!!!
Jim, your 'Red Elf' is adorable...what a nice surprize!
My Pot. Sweet Sugar 'Happy Fields' is now fully open..
