Thanks Susan, Cinda.

Today:
Have a lot of Chionodoxa 'Giant Pink' in flower.
Find I have to deadhead it, once bloomed, or it seeds around quite rapidly. Always trying to maintain diversity in the garden.
Still find it's useful for filling colour in between the times of the crocuses and then the primulas and lungworts blooming.

First daffodils beginning to open up.

Pleased because some of the garden's actually beginning to look dry.

@gardengus : I know I will facepalm as soon as I read the answer because I recognize the flowers but can't recall the name. What are the purple flowers?

If they grow and spread fast, I might have to get some.

Susan, I love that block of daffodils.
They're only just beginning to bloom here.
And who couldn't love azaleas!

Ditto, the grape hyacinths, Cinda.
They are a big asset to the gardens here.
I don't think though we see them blooming until maybe May.

I've read of complaints that grape hyacinth are invasive in some areas.
Certainly not where we live.
They don't seem to spread by seed here (I'm assuming from a few clumps we have), just by bulb division.
Besides their very pretty colour (blue), I like the way that (here, at least), they form and stay in clumps.
They're very hardy.

Interesting that Cinda and Cheshire talk about "purple".
I see it as blue.

Female have two X-chromosomes and the colour vision genes are located on the X-chromosome.
Hence females can have two forms (alleles) for a particular colour vision gene.
That apparently is the reason why some females, identify some flower colours as "purple", while males and other females identify the same flowers as "blue".
The additional discrimination is apparently with the colour red.

At the same time, "purple" doesn't really exist (e.g. in the rainbow of visible light)!
Your brain comes up with the colour purple on the basis of the visual stimuli it receives.

Even after teaching Human Biology, at a university level, I'm still confused!

I had an Iris that was Blue in the morning (EMO) and purple in the afternoon. Am I crazy or confused or both? Do I have more visual stimuli in the afternoon? LOL. It is no joke, I have a picture! I think sometimes the color is suggested by the name ''grape'' (purple)
I have seen a very pretty almost sky blue hyacinth, but don't own any.

I planted some of the sky blue hyacinth, but have never seen it bloom. I don't know if it's in an area that gets too little sun, or if it's just a weak strain.

Scattered tulips are just beginning here. I find it odd that many in the sun garden haven't shown up yet, but the ones in the shadier areas are up and blooming. The ones in the shadier areas were likely planted shallower (mostly by squirrels)...that's really the only thing I can think of to explain the difference. Shrug! Hoping that the others show up soon.

Certainly not crazy, Susan!
I know that the garden phlox 'Düsterlohe' (Nicky), which is purple and 'Blue Paradise' are said to change colour during the day,
Attractive tulips.

Interesting, Cinda.
Elegant tulips. I like pink too.

Interesting detective work, Chelle.

The first lungwort has blooms on it and several primulas have flowers which are beginning to open.
Still, the best show is certainly still bulbs, especially species tulips and now daffodils in the sunniest spots.
