Marilyn, you get to add it to the database! Hooray! When you search for it, and you get the system message which says it doesn't exist, one of the options is to "add a new plant to the database" click on that, it'll open a page which has several lines that you have to fill in. For this semp, it is...
Common Name = Hen and Chicks
Genus = Sempervivum
Species = (I leave this field blank)
Cultivar = Little Green Gem
leave the next 2 items blank.
I can't find any references to Little Green Gem. Marilyn can you call Timberline and ask them the origin of it? It is so cute.
And yes, you can add a new entry to the database for it. We will add information as we get it.
Safe travels Lynn! Marilyn enjoy your day!! We now are having our normal late spring weather! 60 and partly sunny! Instead of high 70's or 80's and full on intense sun like we had a couple weeks ago!! Crazy! Don't they know I have baby semps that need our normal weather to do well in!!
Greg. I was so relieved to find this great cool and wet weather keeping the semps happy while I was gone. Still haven't walked around outside yet.
Wish I could send some of this weather to Denice to help her new semps establish.
Lynn, it seems like they have good shade, so they should be fine, they may as well get used to what they're in for huh???!!
Glad you're back safe and sound!!
