Hurray! Oh twit, that is a most wonderful find. And it does look like an offset. Can't wait to hear what you find when you divide it.

Here's an update on my annoying noid which hasn't changed that much in 1 month (unlike Chris' which metamorphed into a bigger beauty and oh, so very interesting!)

May and then June:
Thumb of 2013-06-12/webesemps/7aa255 Thumb of 2013-06-12/webesemps/ac8ca8

And here's one that I could have sworn was a lone head and now it appears to be two heads. I thought maybe I was mistaken about the lone head but the two heads look like they are still enclosed within one head's worth of outer leaves. Confused

Bev, that first one in your post did change quite a bit in one month. Hurray!

And you're right - that bottom one does look like it turned into a 2 headed monster somehow.

I agree with Chris on both photos. Big change in one month on the crested NOID.
And how cute, Siamese twins. Lovey dubby

Just took this updated photo of Oddity. It is doing something very odd. Whistling
There is more than one leaf doing this odd thing.

The rosette is about 3 years old or so. It is actually 2 large rosettes with 2 or 3 small rosettes from last year that are tucked under the 2 larger rosettes. Notice the new offsets are the "normal" form.

Yes, I could see the new offsets. That is a very impressive clump.

Still don't know why my Monstrose rosettes turned to normal leaves?

Sandi, Some of the leaves of my Monstrose are doing that as well. I did not post the pic as there were only a couple of them. Here's the pic I have. I'm not sure if it is the same rosette as the other pics.

This one is S. 'Boromir' crested. Sherri sent this to me last year. I was very concerned, with the bad weather we were having, if it would survive. It's doing OK though very unstable. Thank you very, very much, Sherri!
