Update regarding 'Utopian' it is an offshoot, and upon closer inspection what I thought were more offsets forming on the bottom of the plant, were just drying up leaves Thumbs down So, maybe this is just how it send out its little young uns! I tip my hat to you.

Janice thank you so much. This semp just fascinated me when I saw it. I've never seen one that grew a rosette, let alone two, from the center of the parent rosette.
Keep and eye on this one to see if it produces any offsets that do the same.

Looks like my Crested Purple Passion is coning on both ends. Sad This happened very quickly. And quite a few of the chicks around the outside are starting to bloom too.
