Awesome seedling Ann!!

I have a vague recollection of that sort of eye zone being referred to as broken. It's great whatever you call it.

That is amazing. It's the prettiest thing I've seen this year. I think you should name it Hot Cakes because that's what it would sell like. OMG. I think I'll make it my screensaver. Drooling Drooling Drooling Congratulations.

Just thought of another name: Must Have

Thanks, everybody for the feedback on my seedling, i really appreciate it. I am wondering what to cross it with to see if a better pattern can emerge. Hybriziers out there, any ideas? I only had one seedling of this cross and I think it is the only pod I ever set using Funky Blues pollen. I have never set a pod on the plant itself. Just dumb luck, I guess. Les, I hate to tell you but the name Hot Cakes has already been taken. LOL

Well, you could always name it after me. Whistling

The bloom on this fell apart when I was lifting it from the scape but the color was good. I forgot and cut my thumb nails. LOL

Wow! Looking through this thread I am drooling! Loving too many to mention each.

Bloom season is just beginning here and this is my first seedling to bloom. I have been waiting to see this cross. Wanted northern hardy pink stretched out and it looks like I got it.
First flower ever on Rosella Flight x Aldersgate 6 " bloom as is, closer to 9.5" stretched out

Leslie - The eye on your seedling is a delicious blue! Please post some future photos of that one!

Lisa - I like the color scheme on you spidery seedling. Here are a few of mine from the past couple of days.

Sun Bear X Julie Newmar #2, 3-way branching with 20 buds. First time bloomer

Into the Mystic X Symphony of Praise - We had a cool night. The edge gets more ornate after warm nights. This is a 3-year-old seedling.

So far, that one is my best budded seedling. It has 24-26 buds per scape and 4 way branching. Here's a look at the scape.

shive1 said:Tink - I love, love, love Magnificent Hummingbird X Dragonfly Dawn. How big is the bloom? Debra in nashville

I measured the bloom and it's about 5". This bloom was smaller than the others had been so I would say that they were probably about 5.5".

All I've got to say about Ann's seedling is "THANK GOD I'M HER BEST FRIEND!!!" I would say it is a broken pattern. I would cross it to Waves of Joy since you have pollen.
And I have a name for you I will email it to you. I have been saving this name for something special. And special it is.

Now FRED OMG each and everyone of those is gorgeous. I really really like the Lillian's Clockwork Orange seedling and the one from Lillian's Jinger Bred. The one from LCO is certainly worth of introduction as is the other one. I would want either of those!!
