There are just so many nice seedling pictures. Lots of exciting and pretty things.
I didnt have great seedling luck this year. I do have these blooming today.

Little Sea Sprite x Super Fancy Face. The first picture is one I posted earlier in the spring, the second a sibling blooming today.

I also posted one of these earlier in the spring. Halloween Green x(rose kennedy x emerald starburst) They all look very similar and its been fun to watch the different ones open. First two pictures are just a couple different ones. Last picture is the one from today

Thanks.
Reguarding the above seedlings,Ive got myself in a tizzy now . I think Ive gotten my seedlings mixed up. For the life of me, I cant see MOO or London Tower in those seedlings. HOWEVER, Ive got Halloween green x (rose kennedy x emerald starburst) seedlings, and those look just like they came from that to me. I guess Ill have to wait and see what happens next year when the other seedlings bloom.
I have terrible luck keeping things straight, I tried so hard, but those sure like HG x (RK x ES) to me.

YEP. Im 100% sure. Going back to change it above.

So many beautiful seedlings! Leslie and Debra, you both have seedlings with beautiful baby blue eyes. Very nice.

Lisa, I agree that the Holmes seedling is spectacular in clump strength. As a single it looks great too.

Fred, I would buy Lillian's Clockwork Orange X Lillian's Alabama Sunrise today. I absolutely LOVE it! Great color.

Pam, those big green eyes on your seedlings are absolutely awesome.

I had a major disappointment today. I have been awaiting the FFO of seedlings from the cross of Some Sweet Day X Grandma's Ruffled Curtains and this is what I got.

The bloom is about 6" with thick substance and a nice flat bloom, BUT it is yellow to my eyes. This photo makes it look more polychrome. I was so hugely disappointed. It isn't ugly but it just isn't to my liking.

Pam, I love those green throats.

Sorry about your disappointment Ann but maybe you can use it as a bridge since the substance is good.

Well, it's a beautiful seedling anyway. And do you still have others from that cross that will still bloom? Keep the faith, babe!

Ann - If I saw that in my seedling bed, I would be very happy. You may get a lot more ruffling on subsequent blooms. Were you hoping for lavenders?

Here are a couple of other seedlings that have bloomed in my quest for blue eyes.

Debra, I really like your first seedling. The white base color really makes the blue eye stand out. Congrats!

I have posted some of the Polar Snow X Snow Crystal seedlings before. I have four of them. One day I need to post photos of each and let you guys help me decide which bloom is the best.
This is the #4 seedling.

This is a cross of Halloween Trick X Rumble in the Jungle, both of which have fairly short scapes. This seedling is one of the tallest in the garden. Go figure!!!

Another bloom on the Get Jiggy X Funky Blues seedling. The first photo was taken about 7:30 a.m. and the second one around 10:30 a.m. (minus pollen ☺☺) I had intended to take another at the end of the day, but rain has probably ruined the bloom by now. I put Waves of Joy pollen on this bloom and REALLY hope it sets a pod.

We now have hundreds of seedlings in bloom. We are near peak bloom and we added lots of new daylilies and this is our second year of blooming seedlings. My 13 year old son -the hybridizer is excited about what he now has to work with. By the time he is finished this season we will have 30,000 seeds to handle.
