Michele, those are fantastic seedlings! I bet you're really proud of them -- and of yourself! But unfortunately two of them don't show up for me, and of course they're two I wanted to see the most: MAGIC OF OZ X ROSE F. KENNEDY and TROPICAL SHADE X CASPER'S REVENGE. Is there some way you could maybe try them again?

Oops, never mind. I tried them again and this time they loaded -- and I love the CASPER'S REVENGE seedling.

I'm not sure the bloom size, I'll have to measure it on the next bloom. I've been so busy with shipping and other stuff I haven't had time to really do much.

I'm going to do a special bed for the seedlings that I like but am not going to take further in eval.

FFO on a new seedling 1301. There has been no color adjustment.

Can you tell us the cross? You must be terribly excited or see that little beauty. And I know I am!

Thanks, Betty. I nearly wet my pants when I saw the bloom this morning! The cross is Get Jiggy X Funky Blues. This is its third year in the ground and about time it bloomed. It has a nice tall scape. Haven't really checked other stats. I think I see something in the eye like Jiggy does when it really doesn't Jiggy. I don't know what to call it, but the eye zone isn't quite a solid color. Someone, PLEASE help me describe it!

Leslie - I like your idea of a bed for seedlings we like but don't plant to into. I have several that have pretty faces but not the bud count to introduce. I have them scattered around in different beds where I have space. But it would be nice to pull them all together.

Ann - That is a fabulous seedling! You must be thrilled. I would definitely say it has a patterned eye. I'm not sure what to call it. Maybe some of our folks who are breeding for patterns will know what it's called. I'm going to think of it as "Jiggyesque."
