This is one I moved last fall and apparently forgot I moved it. FFO for this one, its sib started blooming weeks ago.

That's a pretty dark one Summerbee. Looks like it holds up to the rain well too.

I lost my viva la vida lillies to the freeze along with others. I did manage to get an image of the 1/2 1/2 scape today showing the 1/2 green and 1/2 yellow sides to the terminal "v". The light is harsh on the yellow side I hope you can still see the buds are all yellow. There's a few more green buds on the green side behind the bigger one. It will be interesting to see what it does in future years, little guy is only a year old.

Larry, I had a surprise the other morning when this one caught my eye. It is pleated. I had not noticed that before. Not all of the blooms are, but a lot of them are.
Even without the relief you were hoping for, there is very nice colour on your sdlg.

I have my blog here on garden.org set up showing my hybridizer codes and my bead colors and keep them on my phone. Makes it easy to find them when I need them.
We have had so much rain lately, and last night and early this morning we had another hard down pour, the substance on these two plants is great and the blooms withstood the rain still looking good. The pink one does show some slight relief, could not see any on the eyed bloom.
In the past I have seldom seen bees in the daylilies, but this year these big "Bumble Bees", I think, are frequent visitors. They fly deep into the throat and seem to just collect water. Strange being it is raining almost every day now.

I am glad you are starting to see relief on some of your seedlings, Larry. It is nice when they can withstand heavy rain, too

I took a few photos this morning, but everything was very wet, and it was cool, so some were slow opening. I got to see which ones are cool morning openers. We have been having warm nights this bloom season, so this is the first time I had to wait to see some fully opened.

Love the seedlings Valerie! The pleated one is really pretty, it's always fun to have a good surprise. And your little patterns just keep getting better and better. Great blues showing. The watermarked last one is amazing.
