The shadow only appears on the bar while it floats.

While it's stuck to the top above the logo, the shadow is gone so as to not detract from the banner images.

So, Jacquie, to see the shadow go to any forum, click on any thread and travel down the page. As soon as you start reading the posts the menu bar will begin to float down the page with you and the shadow will appear. Smiling

I really don't notice it yet, unless someone directs my attention to it. I just got my first treemail since the change and likely would have missed it had it not come with a thread attached. Whistling I remove my glasses to read and the little bit of red around the envelope fades into the rest of the itty-bitty red icons already up there on the left until it's all but unnoticeable. I guess it's time for bi-focals for me, eh? Rolling my eyes.

I can make it a bolder, more visible red.

I've done this. Next time you get new mail you'll notice the envelope is much redder and much bolder. I think it is now so red, and so bold, as to almost be overkill. I hope that helps. Smiling

I sent you mail. If you're still the original envelope, shift-refresh before clicking on it and that'll update the image to the new bright red. You can also test this by going into mail and marking one of them as unread.

I like the bold red. (Fading eyesight here, too).

Thanks, Dave. I tip my hat to you.

The new bold definitely isn't overkill for me. Thumbs up
