Ah! So you did! I'll use Sharon's excuse & blame my not catching that on speed reading. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. Hilarious! Hilarious!

I like the new menubar a lot. Thank you! It is cool to have to have "F5" often if you don't want to miss cool new features

At first I liked the big "Tree Mail" icon in the upper right better, but it is handy to have it floating or 'ever-present'.

Having the Sun, the Moon, and some of the stars isn't enoguh, I have to ask for more!

It always takes me several tries to find the "Add a new plant button". Could that be added to the menubar whenever you're in the Plant database, or is that too wasteful?

Now for something completely unreasonable:

would it be possible to let us CUSTOMIZE our own menu bars? I do some of that with my Browser's always-up Bookmarks toolbar, but it would be nice to have some that come up only inside ATP, and if were the ones I wanted at that time.

Like "Lettuces Database"
"Adding a New Lettuce cultivar"

When 2-3 clicks seem too many:
"My Plant Lists"
"My Ideas"
"Edit My Blog" (is there a way to jump directly to different blog entries?

Is there a way to search for plants directly by name, inside my own plant list?

Now that the mail is designated by the upper lefthand envelope, how are we notified when we have mail?

I have mail and the envelope is not red, no indication I can see.

Thanks!

>> Actually, custom floating toolbars is in the works.

A HAH! No request too greedy, no feature impossible to implement for Our Dave.

Hmm, what to send the man who "has all the acorns"?

A lettuce seed sampler?
Snow peas or snap peas?

Dave, if you look at the Co-op forum, I list some of the letuce varieties I would be tickled to send any. Are there any there you don't have? 'Valmaine' ((romaine) and 'Matina Sweet' (butterhead) are both supposed to be heat tolerant ... but are they TEXAS-heat tolerant?

Naaaw, that would have been "I think he might be short a few acorns".

Or maybe "not the corniest acorn on the tree".

Too bad we can't send him a few COOL days in a row, or more rain.

As for myself, I liked the Treemail on the right, but as usual, us lefthanded people always need to conform.

More importantly, I liked the idea of the name Treemail being boldly displayed. Not only is it a clever moniker, it really set the site apart from everyone else, and was part of the uniqueness of the allthingsplants community. Now it is just a plain ol' envelope. Everyone has that..... every forum, every blog, every email client, every everything, practically.

Sigh.... now we're just like everyone else.

Yes, it is still Treemail, but any newcomers won't even notice.
