Royalty Remembered and Dangerous Liason 😳

RR and Adriatic Noble are siblings, and if RR is anything like Adriatic Noble, I'd want it! It sure as heck looks like a performer, Andrea. That is an excellent clump! My Adriatic Noble clump is something special

Speaking of performers, and loved irises, here's Australian Rosé.

The top bloom was very flared, so I didn't much like this iris at first sight...then this second blossom opened up. I completely change my mind! This may become an instant favorite, especially since it bloomed late and is a first year bloom in its first year!

Royalty Remembered

Gorgeous! Consider putting this clump shot in the database.

Monty, I grow both Royalty Remembered and Adriatic Noble. Royalty Remembered makes a more compact clump, which I like. Adriatic Noble is taller, leggier, and I think has larger flowers. It takes up more room than Royalty Remembered, which, if you have limited space like me, is not preferable. Here is Adriatic Noble in a previous year (it is not happy this year because I moved it.)

Andrea - I may have to try out Royalty Remembered. AN for me made a huge clump with tall stalks that are sort of...floppy? Is that the right word? I don't know. It leans into the sidewalk which makes it difficult to not crash into stalks. Adriatic Noble is a top 5'er for me, so if Royalty Remembered performs as well or better...then...hmmm

Rare Coin is so nice, I "think" I still have it, and what I think is there looks like it might bloom again. It may surprise me and be something else. If that's the case It's gone.

Some more opened today. First time seeing the lavender one. Don't remember it blooming last year. The dark purple one has been around here forever and has been passed along until everyone cried uncle. After that extras went to burn pile.
