Not much rain fell yesterday, blowing and raining in Boone this afternoon, cooler today, high in the low 60s, low tonight in the low 40s. Wind has been howling since yesterday afternoon, blew my work gloves off the concrete block next to the grill. Found one of them nearby and the other outside the rail in the Driveway Bed. Blowing covers off the porch furniture - really am getting weary of the wind! So my sympathies Linda!

Unexpectedly nice today, mostly sunny, light breeze, 53/44. There's a possibility of rain in the next few hours, so I put my 11 potted contributions for the Daylily sale in my car. They are already labeled with photos and info which I don't want ruined by rain or dew.. I need to be in Danvers by 8:30 am. Who knows? I might pick up a few unexpected plants!

A 50/50 day today. Thinking there might have been more clouds than sun but I was able to get some weeding done this afternoon and paths mulched this morning while it was nice out. Had to run to the grain store to get chick crumble for the little kids. Two weeks and almost half feathered already! Temps were 45 & 61.

Cooler this morning. Right now it is 58. It will be a lovely day for a garden tour, which is on my agenda this morning. The president of our daylily club has opened his garden this morning, and I am looking forward to it.

Zoia, you don't have enough plants. I think you should definitely pick up some more.

Actual low last night was 39.2, couldn't say for certain however it looked as if there may have been a very light frost. Sunny this morning, late day showers possible. Predicted high 64.

That's a chilly night Donna!

Turned out not to bad today after "they" said it would be cold and cloudy. It was first thing this morning but by 9 the sun was out and it was warming up. Got a lot done outside before it started cooling off this afternoon when the thicker clouds returned. we get a break in the clouds to see the northern lights tonight. Temps were 43 & 63.

It was chilly this morning at the NEDS sale. The sun was in and out but it's cloudy now 59/ 48. Guess there will be no Lights for me. I was too tired to catch them last night and I knew I had to get up early. My daughter sent some pictures from Gloucester

Beautiful! Now I'm mad that I didn't catch them! I looked last night but didn't see anything in the partly cloudy sky.

Partly sunny this morning, 54/44, chance of rain now and in the afternoon. Heading over to my younger daughter's house for a Mother's Day brunch at her favorite local restaurant. I haven't been to Gloucester for a while so that should be nice.
