The Force is sending us a beautiful morning...🌞 soon now. "They" pushed the 🌧 back to tomorrow. 66/80F
So, of course, the 🤡 in charge moved GS's ⚽️ game to tomorrow 🙄
No chemicals added to induce color. The high rainfall has really got the hydrangeas blooming this year.

Linda the hollyhock.
Dave, gorgeous hydrangeas.
Some fog and 59 degrees this morning. Drizzly, total overcast, rain expected on and off today with thundershowers possible. Humidity increasing, may reach mid-60s, with a low in the 50s tonight.
Though it rained intermittently yesterday and overnight, we have had only 0.29".

It is cool in the low to mid 50s and wet. I'm sure the garden appreciates the rain but these temps are a shock to my body after flirting with 90 most of last week
I hope you get a chance to Nan. These have been able to survive our terrible summers, produce healthy volunteers like crazy as well. Just hoping the black flowered one I bought the other day blooms this year. Does not look as healthy coming from that nursery as does all my crazy volunteers.

Your garden is so beautiful, Zoia, so much color and some great reds. Well the Hollyhocks are just losing out by not being there!! I do not think we have Flea Beetles here.

A feast of color tonight! Gorgeous Dave, Jill and Zoia. Had to look close at the toothy tulip, wild!
I agree Jill, the crazy temps swings just don't give the body a chance to adjust. We had another "they" screwed up day. A few clouds this morning but then it turned out sunny and warm. With rain and cooler temps coming tomorrow I spent the day outside working in the garden and helping DH with a fun wind spinner idea he's been working on. Think we may have it figured out. Temps were 43 & 66.
Thanks for the yard compliments! I love this time of year, the parade of azaleas is just starting, culminating with the Rhododendrons.
I might start my"repaint the yard toys" project tomorrow. There's weeding to do but I can't do that all day. And I need to get the spinners and things in place because they are actually sneaky hose guides… also there are benches to move into position, and other outdoor furniture.
