65/77F 100% chance of 🌧 this morning delaying the start of daylilying.

As you can tell, my generic hydrangeas see close to neutral pH. My focus seems to be elsewhere Whistling Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing THEY will enjoy the rain.

Predicted high today is a Summery 82!!!! Low tonight 54. Sunny but this may be our last dry day for awhile. Looks like at least four rainy days coming up. Have lots of outside work to do - not enough hours in which to get it done.

Rain today, starting at 1 pm. Getting up to 70 degrees though! Down to 46 overnight. Tomorrow and Saturday look dry though. Today and tomorrow, I have rehearsals in Providence but I'll be gardening on Saturday!

Bummer on the rainy parade Ginny. Crossing Fingers! you get some sunshine the rest of the weekend!

Love the lavender-orchid edge no eye hydrangea Smiling

Another mixed weather day. Light shower over night, the clear sky didn't stay, so it was damp out and still cloudy. Decided the heck with it and went out anyhow. Got all but the last two sdlgs in another area moved Hurray! I'll get those tomorrow after shopping then those two beds can get a light till and I can start planting new sdlgs next week. Sun came out just before noon and mixed with big dark puffy clouds, brief shower this afternoon. We're setting up for a bunch of cloudy/ rainy days too Donna. This is starting to feel like the weather pattern we had last summer. Temps today were 47 & 68.

Char, seven of the next eight days have rain in the forecast. Though that could mean anywhere in the two counties covered by our weather forecasters, but none here. One never knows until it actually rains! Hope you get some nice sunny days soon.

Ginny, enjoy the parade and festival. Sounds like a lot of fun!

Linda, I'm hoping we never hit 90!! Highest temperature I saw today was 79.9; didn't feel that bad, except when I was outside working in the sun. Quite comfortable in the house with windows open.

67/80F mostly cloudy. After 1/4" rain pre-dawn yesterday, only a few sprinkles pre-dawn today...the storms split and went North & South of us.

Where are the 🦋? Not too many around right now.

Wow, Dave, your milkweed is ahead of ours. The only one of mine that is blooming is the white native one. No butterflies here yet that I have noticed.

Today warm (70s-803) and cloudy. Good day to work outside. I will try to get my gardening done in the a.m.

Cloudy, cool, not expecting rain today. 58/42. I saw a Monarch here yesterday, which I thought was very early.

Nice view Zoia.

We have survived the really hot days this week and today is in the 70s. It is supposed to rain through the weekend. We could use the rain but it will ruin weekend plans

Currently raining, though lightly. Hurray! High today in the mid-70s, low tonight high-50s. 40% chance of overnight showers. Likelihood of rain is much higher tomorrow.

One of my volunteer Hollyhocks growing in a pot. The rains we got this winter have just made these grow like crazy. One of my favorite plants.

7 out of 8 days is a lot more rainy days than we're setting up for Donna. Group hug Hope "they" are wrong and you will get a few sunny breaks!

Hurray! a sunny day for the tulip festival! Good temps too.

Gorgeous images Zoia and Jill!
Smiling that's a pretty hollyhock Linda. All your plants must be happy with the abundance of rain over the winter.

Well "they" messed up, I'm not complaining. It was suppose to be sunny for a little while this morning then cloudy the rest of the day. Instead it was sunny all day with just some puffy clouds. Made the most of it and got a lot done outside after shopping early this morning. Hope to get more done tomorrow before rain comes on Sunday. Temps were 43 and a warm 68.

The rain forecast keeps moving around. But like Char, it turned into a blue sky sunshine day here too. Now it looks like it won't rain until Sunday night, so I will be taking advantage of that tomorrow and Sunday.
