Very raw out. I did manage to dig in two new Daylilies and dig out a bunch of Lily of the Valley that was trying to invade a number of beds. Then it started to sprinkle, so I gave up.

"They" said it would begin raining at 8:00 am, however it was clear until around 2:30 pm. Sun even tried to peek through part of the day. High today was 71.2, low tonight expected to be in the mid-50s. Raining now, over the past four days we have accumulated 1.43" of rainfall.

"They" were right for today. Started raining before 8 this morning and light rain is still falling. There were a couple rounds of heavy showers in between the lighter steady rain. So far just under and inch. Cloudy with sink into your bones dampness. Woodstove going all day felt real good. Did a little greenhouse hopping this afternoon just to get out, nice to see some flowers! Temps were 45 & 55.

70/58, currently 66, 78% humidity, cloudy, 47% chance of rain this afternoon, 63% tonight. Our weather station does not show daily rainfall, unless it's what is termed an "event". Though I think that is the overall amount for the total number of days. In any case, it has rained five out of six days in May and the total amount so far is 1.44", not nearly what others have had, however it's been good for the gardens and has helped knock the pollen down.

A warm day today after a good rain last night. The garden is greening up! 75/54. Sunny and warm tomorrow, then rain expected for three days. Sure hope it finishes in time for the NEDS annual Daylily sale! I'm still trying to decide what to contribute.

Garden was happy with the rain from yesterday even if I wasn't. The plants are finally doing some growing. This morning was still cloudy and a brief shower passed through while Sky and I were outside around 8. Then the skies cleared, sun came out and it warmed way up, high was 75. No woodstove today Got started on planting seedlings mid morning, back feels good now we'll see how it is in the morning! Low was 43. Suppose to have another gorgeous day tomorrow then cooling off with rain for a few days.

A wake-me-up extra

Rain continues and there are now no days in the next 14 without rain in the forecast. Predicted high today 80, low tonight 61. With the high humidity, I may be turning on the A/C.

I don't want to wish the rain to "go away and come again some other day" because I'm sure that will cause a drought!

Beautiful day here, blue sky, 77/48. It won't be this nice again for over a week. Rain is moving in tomorrow morning and the temperatures will drop with it. At least the weekend looks dry so far.

I'm taking a short breather before I go out to dig Daylilies for the club sale.

Oh man next 14 days Donna I know what you mean about .."go away come again another day". I so want to grumble when it's raining but then I'm afraid it will stop completely. I just hope we won't have rain like we had last summer or I will be grumbling!!!!

This was the best day so far. A bit of heavy fog this morning burned off to clear blue sky sunshine. Warmed up quickly as I cleaned up the last rocks and weedblock left from the gate replacement, then moved some plants to new spots and planted a few trays of seedlings. Tried to cram as much as I could in today because of the rain coming the next few days. Temps were 39 & due to a light breeze a very comfortable 74.

Reached 89 yesterday. Supposed to be windy today.

Rainy, but warm, 65/50. It will rain on and off through Friday. The last bout of rain left us with 0.7", not bad at all. So far, so good with staying hydrated!

Partly sunny at the moment, extremely windy overnight - wind blowing in the windows kept waking me up. Predicted high 73, low 61, potential for severe weather with afternoon and overnight thunderstorms.
