James,

Do you have your Cherry Cheesecake in partial shade? Mine bloomed a lot this year, but didn't have the color that yours does. Mine is planted in a very sunny spot. Would that bleach the color out? Yours is very pretty. My buds were colorful, but the blooms weren't anything special. May have to move it to some shade next spring.
When all is said and done, there’s more said than done.

Rose the two plants I have are in full sun, heat most of 36 days this year 100+. Those were early morning shots, they do seem to fadeout latter in the day. But still very beautiful. And yes I got so many blooms I do think more than any of the other 20/30 plus I have. Hope they do as well next year.
Your pictures are beautiful.

This one I really loved the color, and the fact it was like a triple, only problem, it died when I was in the hospital, my daughter is NOT a plant lover.
This is called Mango Daquiri

Very nice though. There are some pale yellow hardy ones. Old Yellow and New Old Yellow. They aren't that vibrant though. These plants are so fun to grow.

Does anyne have a picture of one called Cranberry Crush?

Do you have a problem with any of these dividing down the middle? Or being floppy? I only want to add one or two and I need to make a good choice.

I think most Hardy Hibiscus are hardy to about zone 4. Wild Hibiscus moscheutos from which they were created are native from the gulf coast to parts of Canada.

Yes, they are hardy to cold, but I thought that they needed warmth for good blooming.

I would think that if it is warm enough to grow, then it is warm enough to bloom. These aren't like tropical like rosa-sinensis, they are native to North America, all the way into Canada. If they grow and bloom there, I would think they should bloom for you. I think the primary concern would be getting enough sunlight.

My midnight marvel died over the winter. My other hibiscus have come up strong, but nothing at all on it. Does anyone else have trouble w this particular one, I am wondering if I should give it another try or find something else?
