My MM must of heard us talking about it and started to push out some new leaves just after
I posted. Is sawfly breeding season over or will I still need to watch for them?

I haven't seen any recent damage here, so hopefully it's past. I'm going to try and be more on the ball next year! I was shocked at how fast they ruined the foliage on all of my hibiscus this year.

Look at this flower on my Hibiscus, its got two seperate reproductive parts! Only flower like this on the plant the rest are normal.

Cherry Cheesecake looks like that in a lot of heat and sun here. I saw a bunch of them like that here.

Clint, thanks for the comment. I'll try to set up some temporary shade cloth. Maybe eventually it needs moved.

How old are these hibiscus? Do you ever sell them to nurseries for retail? I would love to see some of these available in the US!

What I would like to see is Hardy x tropical hibiscus hybrids created. If anyone can do that you will be rich!
