Thanks for giving me back the little house. Hurray!

@RickCorey - the context sensitive buttons are already there, or they were. I saw them when I clicked on a random plant

@Dave - what was the rationale for moving stuff that used to be on the right-hand side of the screen to the left? Cause it interrupts my thought-process/work flow. (that sounds way better than "i just don't like it cause it's different).

Help me understand why it's a good thing because it made way more sense to me on the right. On the left, it's a distraction.

and I really hate having to scroll past the random plant/idea to get to my custom links. REALLY hate that. A LOT.

eta: on the home page, I mean. No issues with how the sidebar looks in forums/threads/posts except I wish it were on the right, not the left.

I agree. Is there some way to have them up with the other links on our home pages.
Once away from home page it works fine.

I agree that we need to rethink a little how the custom links appear under the box on the homepage.

I moved the custom links up. They should be right above the white boxes now.

Not to belabor the point, but could you think about joining the ATP logo to the top row rather than the left column so we could have the way-cool fade again? Go to sleep and let your mind cogitate this...

I'd prefer that there not be a column on the left, but I will adjust. I am a "bit" obsessive about symmetry, so maybe a bit of blue on the right would make the page feel balanced?

Here is another thing I've found:

I almost always center my photos within the text of a blog or an idea/article. With today's changes all the images are now aligned left. I browsed through several of my articles as well as my blog entries - no centering at all, everything is to the left.

So I went to my blog spot and tried a new entry, same thing, no matter if I tell it to center the tables, they still align left. Is this just my problem or is it a problem sitewide?

I am continuing to like this layout. It is simple. Everything you need to change a window is on the left. Everything you need to change on a page is on the right. I am moving as swiftly on this layout as I did the old one.---I can see the whole page on my phone!! That ROCKS! Thumbs up To nitpick, that odd space at the top? Just to the left of the page indicator buttons? The Forum Title and Subject Title of the thread might could fit in there. It that it is...so ....blank. Just a thought. Then again, if there were going to be 100 pages in one forum, you would fill up that space. Thinking out loud here.

about the navigation icons... the one you use for posts has always been used to mean "chat" on every place I've ever seen it on the internet. When I saw it yesterday after my nap, my first thought was: We have a chat feature? Granted, hovering my mouse over it quickly identified it as showing my posts instead, but I can see where it might confuse newbies.

Also, is there really that great of a demand for a way to see our own posts without going to our profiles? I'm just wondering if it's really a necessary option. Shrug!

Thank You Chelle Hurray!

Mary, that thought ran through my mind as well - the profile thing.

It's odd how we all "navigate" differently. Just like going Home. There are so many options, even using a bookmark if necessary but it's what you get used to and are comfortable with as well. And dear Dave has to see to the needs of so many requests - thank you Dave!

Here is something I'm noticing this morning - All the font across the entire website seems larger? NICE! Thumbs up Thumbs up

this morning I clicked on a random idea: http://garden.org/ideas/view/M...

It's hard to say, but I could swear that when this idea was written, the plant lists were next to the pictures, even if the pictures were on the other side of the screen. This just doesn't look right.
