We can leave the show stuff here for now and I will post photos later when I have a little more time. The Bill Munson was award created by Region 12 to honer Mr Munson. The best pattern daylily wins that category. Do not know what the daylily was, maby Michelle knows.

I think the awards were very deserved amd am so thrilled and happy for you both. I knew I loved that one the won teh Munson award and here it was Tinks that I admired the other day-Weaver'sWeb. Rolling on the floor laughing

Tink I can see in your photo of SS X KG that it wants to pinch and Crispate. It is afterall a FFO. so don't get to impatient. The others are beautiful too and I am excited to see such a great photo of Spacecoast Royal Rumble as I have that one but has not bloomed yet. It looks so much better than any pics. I have seen of it before.

Stephanie, here's another photo of it I took on 05/17/11. The first several blooms were sooooo aweful. I've had quite a few of my daylilies that bloomed all splotchy and ugly. the ones in the beds with overhead sprinklers I assumed was water getting into the buds and making them splotch. But when the blooms opened in the beds with soaker hoses I was upset and thought I had bought daylilies that were just going to be ugly anyway. However, since the later blooms have straightened up I will chalk it up to 2 things. Either it was thrips and I didn't spray early enough or it was the cool weather (then warm, then cool) making the buds not open all the way and dew would get in and then when they finally opened the next day or so they would be blotched.

Tink that is so hard to take when the blooms are all messed up, so glad they are doing well now. We wait so long to see them and want them all beautiful.
That is a gorgeous picture of it. I did not realize it had a poly tendency either but hope it does it more. It appears to have a lot more ruffling than I thought too so that is a good sign in my book. Will see what mine looks like but maybe not until next year. We are in such different climates it is interesting to see how different they can be.

Fantastic pictures, and thanks so much -- and it's nice to see pictures of Michele at those winning moments! And Michele, next time you must get a picture of Fred too. The pictures from both of you are really great because we get to see the winning daylilies and the important people too -- between the two of you, you got it all pretty well covered!

The daylilies are really starting to come to life in my garden now, but unfortunately I see quite a bit of petal damage due probably to snails/slugs because I have not used anything so far this year because of the kitten. But he's growing now so I'm starting to use Deadline -- and what snail graveyards I'm building! But I'll plow ahead with my pictures, and hopefully you'll forgive all the flaws in my blooms. I'll start with the little guys -- I really love these!

PATCH OF BLUE (Small), LITTLE BLOOM RIDER (Mini), and BROADWAY BLOODSPORT (Mini) - BB seems quite large for a mini, but I love it.

Hi, everyone,

Despite the chilly temps, the daylilies are beginning to bloom, and these few are opening quite well (even if they're not perfectly flat). Maybe I'll rethink this, but right now I'm inclined to replacing any that aren't reliable cold morning openers.

Beautiful blooms, everyone! Michele, I was thrilled to see that wonderful bloom of LILLIAN'S CLOCKWORK ORANGE (absolutely love it, Fred!), as I have it too and have 3 scapes now -- but we're going to be gone from June 8-22, and I have this fear that it will bloom during that time and be done by the time I return. Our son will probably be taking daylily pictures for me while we're gone, but it simply won't be the same if I can't see the blooms myself!
